Question by : Would anyone know of an organic fertilizer for Hibiscus also Crepe Myrtle?
They need fertilizer and well, money is short these days. So i’m looking for a household item.items such as coffee grinds, tea grinds ETC. To make matters worse, we live in Florida where ant just love to take over. It’s a never ending problem. Thank you in advance.

  1. All your kitchen scraps and yard waste can go into a compost pile. In several months, the stuff will have turned into nice crumbly, dark earth.

    Use that on your hibiscus and crape myrtle. It’s organic, and free is about as cheap as you can get.

  2. You can mix some of the grounds and veggie scraps into the soil around the plants now and it will give them nourishment as it decomposes.

  3. I have used fish emulsion before with good results. A homemade option would be to go on a fishing trip and bury the dead fish or remains after filleting.
