Question by Durham: would anyone help me figure out the difference percenage between Min and NC according to the question?
Min raised 44 million turkeys each year whereas NC raised about 43 milllion turkeys.Minnesota raised a
much greater number of turkeys than
North Carolina. To the nearest
percentage, what is the percentage
difference between the number of
turkeys raised in Minnesota and
North Carolina based on North
Carolina’s number of turkeys? I have already solved this math problem,but I ‘m not fully satisfied with the answer that I got which was 2%.

  1. Min had 1M more turkeys than NC
    So, in relation to NC’s number of turkeys, it’s 1/43 more.
    Percentages are based on 100 – so if you calculate 100/43, you’ll get your answer – slightly more than you stated.
