Having a worm farm, isn’t that worm abuse???

  2. do you know how many worms are stuck with a hook through their bodies then thrown in a pond drowning then chomped by a fish everyday..so i would say yes but legal abuse,if that makes sense

  3. You are suggesting that farming/ranching in general is abusive. Perhaps we should stop the lions from eating zebras. No. It’s no more abusive than any other form of agriculture.

I totally see where you are coming from with this question, I had a worm farm, I didn’t want to go and dig worms from the garden for it so I thought I would get some off eBay that were being sold for fishing 🙁 I used a few and set the rest free…..but mine just died 🙁 I did everything right, well I tried to!
    I think it is OK if you set up a farm for the kids and don’t leave the worms in there too long, If is for you to keep as pets as mine was (OOPS) then don’t bother! As the small tank that is sold seems too small and worms don’t like the light so you have to keep it covered all day anyways!
    I loved my ant farm my ants lived for ages! I miss mine now need more ants! hehe xx

  5. Farmed raised worms are happy…i have some in my back yard …a lot of time effort and cow poo goes into caring for these critters…it they become unhappy they simply crawl away in the night
