What does the bottom of your trays look like, that’s lets the worms travel
from one bin to the next?
k THIS VIDEO WASN’T INFORMATIVE #1 wear rubber gloves next time, you stress
the worms out and it looks like your using too much food anyway good luck:)
thanks for the video. Oh ya and you didn’t even have drain holes with a
catch tray rookie.
Thanks, that WAS helpful. Interesting that you open it to light and have
them crawl down. That’s opposite of what I’ve read to do with the tote worm
bins. But maybe they are as stupid as you say, and wouldn’t transfer just
for food unless they also had to escape the light.
IM aware that you start of a tray with peat or coir plus other stuff but
what about the other trays when You add a tray what exactly do you put in
it, thanks
Thanks for your comment about not having drain-off. I’ve never had it and
was concerned, yet my wormies are happy, eating well, and thriving. The
moisture level is good. Although my tote bin is not quite ready to harvest,
I’ve been pulling out processed compost to make compost tea to water my
plants/garden, with great success. Thanks for all the great info.
@6095jimmy wow, how moronic of a post. You obviously know absolutely
nothing about worm composting nor do you know anything about the worm
factory bin from your comment.
“worms are stupid” haha made me laugh they are not stupid. just because you
see no visual food doesn’t mean their isn’t food. they eat the bacteria
growing on the food and in the bin not the food itself for the most part.
this is cruel. Why keep the worms living in their poops until there is no
more food for them? I mean, put your self in the situation of the worm.
Would you like to live surrounded by your piss and poops all day long
searching and fighting for that last tiny bit of food?
