A leafcutter bee decided my potted plants were the perfect place to try and raise their offspring.
Question by Mere Mortal: With honey bee populations dropping drastically could I help by raising bees?

Many bee’s die every day. Their life-span is not long but It has a good period. If you breed enough of them fast enough It could have a positive impact on the honey bee population world wide. Maybe not that much but my answer to your question is yes.

I wonder if one could provide bees places to live out in the woods, like putting up birdhouses to help endangered birds. People have done it with bathouses, too.
