Question by an illegal alien: Why do we celebrate the mindless, violent slaughter of millions?
I never understood how we all just sit around the turkey to celebrate this “holiday” when it’s obvious how it came to be. Millions of Indians were slaughtered and their land was raped and yet we celebrate as if nothing ever happened. Anyone?
Give your answer to this question below!
there is a lot to be said about CONQUERING………
The Native American population would Agree that they conquered….
some Aboriginal peoples of North America put up more of a fight and some were duped and some were gradually pushed out of their “living areas” as they didn’t believe they owned the land in the first place
this is how the respect falls—————————->
Native Americans have respect for the white warriors who “CONQUERED” the land of United States of America
Native Americans have respect for Buffalo Soldiers who fought in the Civil War
Native Americans have NO respect for Illegal Aliens who think they are more American then they are…………….

Thanksgiving traditionally celebrates a time in our history which has been glossed over and candy coated over the years. What happened to the Native Americans when the Europeans arrived was tragic and should not be played down or forgotten.
However; for many people, myself included, Thanksgiving today is about so much more than pilgrims and turkey dinner. It’s about taking one day out of our lives to stop stressing over all the things we don’t have and think we need and remember what we DO have. It’s a time to reflect on what’s good in our lives and what really matters.
If you want to reconcile the Holiday with it’s tainted past, how about using the time to raise money and awareness for Native American causes and charities ?
