Why can’t you feed chicken to chickens?

Bridget had an amazing time feeding the chickens ("bok-bok") at our recent visit to my parent’s house in Arkansas.

Question by Britannica: Why can’t you feed chicken to chickens?
Fish eat other fish.
But you can’t feed chicken to other chickens?
Can you feed, perhaps, crows to chickens?

  2. Chicken will eat other chickens. I have owned chickens. Btw there was no force feeding…it was put out and they ate it.

  3. You can feed chicken to other chickens, it’s been done but why would you feed a chicken chicken when seed is a lot cheaper and better for them?

  4. remember when we fed cows to cows? we got mad cow disease. now think about this: chickens have claws and sharp beaks and can jump really high using their wings.

  5. Feeding a chicken a chicken is forced cannibalism. A crow to chicken is Ok though.

  6. Umm.. because then they would be cannibals. I dont see any harm in doing so but to me, that’s just wrong. I guess you could feed a crow to a chicken. Many people look at it your way with the example of fish eating other fish. It’s really up to the owner.. Although chickens will not kill each other and eat each other!
