Question by awaken832006: Where can I find raw goat milk in Long Island, NY?
I’ve hear that the use of raw goat milk to make kefir is really good for the absorption of EFAs.
What do you think? Answer below!
From a goat?

“Raw” is the key word here.
It’s illegal for anyone to sell raw milk but there are ways around it.
( All State laws differ slightly).
Some States allow unpasteurized milk to be sold in containers if labeled”For animal consumption only” ( but I’ve only seen this done with raw cow’s milk).
It is legal for a farm owner to consume the raw milk produced by his own herds however.
So, the common practice for farms is to sell you a “Stock Share” of the farm, making you a part owner.
That’s legal in most States.
You would have to look under NY for a goat farm.
Contact these guys.( Maybe).

You will have to go straight to the source and finsd a farmer who milks his goats.

There are only benefits to consuming raw milk as long as you know that they the animals are fed and housed correctly and milked properly. Raw milk generally contains less bacterias than pasteurized milk and contains more vitamins and enzymes, congratulations on your wish to try it.
