While one person milks, the other holds the back legs to prevent the goat from stepping in (and fouling) the milk. With experience, one person can do the milking alone.

My son seems to be allergic to cow milk, although it hasn’t been confirmed yet… I’m considering switching him to goat milk.

  2. Goat milk is great. I have the same problem and use Goat and Soy milk instead. It’s about the same price as regular milk. Also, goat milk is easier to digest, and it really does taste good.

Most of the grocery stores carry goat milk.

  4. At most health food stores. It is not more expensive than regular cow’s milk. It does have and acquired taste that is for sure. Nothing you cannot get used to. I used to have a hard time with it, but after awhile you actually start to really like it.

It is not so bad. I love it. That is a great idea, it really is a healthy milk that is so good for all.

    I wish you the best.

  5. Find a breeder in your area via county fair, 4H, feed stores, etc.
Fresh is best. The ultrapasteurized dreck you get at the store is undrinkable.
You need to find fresh milk.
    Goats are lovely
    Cows are nasty
