Question by Dhalton M: When is the best time to feed a snapping turtle?
My sister feed the snapping turtle in its aquarium and it hasn’t eaten yet she feed it a little chicken because the website said you can feed it cooked chicken so when would be the best time to feed it
and where are you suppose to feed them at in the aquarium or in another dry enviroment?

  1. Anytime is fine but make sure you don’t give too much because they will keep eating and not stop.

  2. Just leave it out in they’re cage, and when they get hungry, they will eat. Simple as that.

  3. Find a new website. The only turtles that eat cooked food like pizza, report to a rat, and live in a sewer.

    I just toss the food into the turtle’s tank when I think of it. Sometimes it gets eaten immediately, sometimes not. In any event, it is always gone by the next day. My turtle gets a lot of liver and whatever fish and rodents that I trap. Other, non-processed meat is good. As my turtle is mature (about 50 yrs old now), he also gets dark green leafy vegetables.
