Between 8.9-9.3 billion of these birds are killed in the US alone each year. They are only 6-weeks-old. They are even exempt from one of two federal laws protecting farmed animals – the Humane Methods of Slaughter Act. This means these birds do not need to be stunned unconscious before their throats are cut.
At the sanctuary, these are the friendliest birds – the only ones people really get to touch and interact with. They are gregarious and very social. They do not live long because they have been artificially selected to grow fast so they can be killed young. They generally die of heart attacks, congestive heart failure, or broken hips.
Question by Otani: What’s the easiest recipe to cook lemon pepper boneless skinless chicken breasts?
I just need a basic recipe and of course for it to taste good still. I prefer my chicken juicy, not dry.
What do you think? Answer below!
===
Lemon Pepper Chicken
2/3 cup dry lemonade mix
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian-style salad dressing
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
To Marinate: In a nonporous glass dish or bowl combine the lemonade mix, pepper and salad dressing. Mix well. Add chicken and toss to coat; cover and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours to marinate.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Remove chicken from marinade, discarding any remaining marinade, and place in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 to 40 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.

Fry lightly in butter, sprinkled with lemon pepper, of course. 3-4 mins on each side. Then, bake at 180 centigrade for about 30 mins, basting with the butter you fried them in every now and then, and turning them over.
Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy.
OR
Just wash, sprinkle your lemon pepper, dot with butter, and bake as above. But you might have to increase your baking time by 10 mins.

I start with some olive oil and butter, cook the chicken, add lemon, some wine, ( I usually use whatever white wine I have left over) or something not a dry one. I also add a little garlic, ground pepper, and let it cook, if you want to have a thicker sauce, I use rice flour. I serve this over angel hair pasta. You can add some fresh parsley for color if you like.

I make this all the time, but with pork chops or fish, besides chicken.
Turn on your oven’s broiler.
Spray a pan with cooking spray.
Sprinkle chicken breast liberally with lemon pepper seasoning.
Place chicken on pan and put into broiler.
Cook for about 20 minutes (depending on thickness of chicken), flipping chicken half way.
*You can also put about 1/4 inch of lemon juice on the bottom of the pan, if using a dish with high sides.
Broiling the chicken gives it a grilled flavor without drying it out and doesn’t take as long as baking, sauteing, or frying. It’s also very healthy.

I have chicken in the oven at this very moment. I just do it very simple, i take the chicken and before putting it in the pan put itian dressing, lemon juice , a little salt , and tony’s chacheres and a tps of worcesterchire sauce.(if you have)
Then mix it all up and let sit while i put some aluminun foil at the bottom of the pan. Next put chicken and juices into pan. After i take a pack of bacon and lay on topof the chicken! Cover with aluminun foil then put into oven. For the last 10 to 15 mins take off cover!
Im picky too about my chicken i hate dry or plain chicken.
Hope you enjoy!
Have a great day(:
