Question by : What’s the beehive like roaring noise during world cup matches?
Watched a match yesterday and watching one now, and I hear an annoying buzzing or roaring noise. It sounds like the stands are full of bees and not people. What is causing that noise?

It’s called a vuvuzela, they are horn like tubes and are popular in South Africa. Get used to it the entire World Cup, reports are more than 1,000,000 of them have been sold.

It could also be subconscious. Tune it out. They buzz for you.
