Question by A Real American: What to do with orphaned turkey chicks?
My dogs ran the mother off yesterday, and the chicks have been calling her ever since. Their tiny fluffballs, a mere handful. Should I try to round them up, contain them & raise them? Or let nature take its course?

  4. raise them because they are too young to be on their own. But i do warn you that when its time for them to go off you might be emotionally attatched… 😛

  5. i would LOVE to keep them, but it would be best for them if you give them to a vet or some other animal expert. by you keeping, them they will get raised to the extent that you feel they need, not nessecarily the extent that they NEED to be raised.

  6. contact your local humane society or aspc. They should be able to tell you who you can contact that rehabs wild animals. Don’t just let them die. Babies are babies no matter what species they are.
