Question by Big-Help: What should i feed my crayfish/yabby and how often?
I am feeding it vegtables at the moment, but i want to feed it meat. But I heard that it makes then agressive to each other. Also what meat stuf can i feed them. Would chicken or something be fine, or maybe a little pinch of the cats meat. Or would i be able to find a worm in the backyard and feed it to them ?

Crayfish are omnivores. See attached for more detail. Your local library probably has books on the subject if you need more detail on their care.

Give him a half of a raw shrimp. They love it. Dont give too much or you will foul the water real fast.

Crayfishes as basically scavengers, being omnivores the eat anything they can find on the bottom of your tank. Feeding them meat will not make them more them any more aggressive.
They are territorial, meaning they need their own little space. Each animal requires about 30-40 cm area with places to hide from the other crayfish. It is the small space that will cause your yabbies to fight, not the foods they are
fed.
Worms, vegetables, fruits, dog or cat food, meat, fish etc can be fed to them. They are not picky eaters. Any type of meat is ok. Note that, feeding them meat will just foul the water more quicker, resulting in dirty, polluted water requiring more water changes.
i also keep crayfishes (redclaws) as pets and feed them crayfish pellets sold in pet shops, snails and dead fish from my pond and also vegetables.
Crayfish don’t have big stomachs and will quit eating once they are full. This is when you take food out if any is left. Feeding them 3 to 4 times a week will suffice.
Hope this helps. Happy yabby keeping
