Question by : What pesticide to use in a aquaponics system?
Hi
I am interested in setting up my own aquaponics system and have it pretty much all planned out, there is just one issue. I know that you can’t use any herbicides or pesticides because it will kill the fish but are there any alternatives that can be used? Any homemade products? I just don’t know how successful it will be. I live in Sydney (a rural area) and I’m just not sure whether my veggies will survive.
Please only tried and tested methods as I don’t want to kill my fish!

do not use pesticide just clean more and more

I’ve had ponds for 20 years, there is no need for pesticide. You see bugs on your plants knock them in the water and let your fish take care of them.
