Novel idea. Are you part of Obama’s make work programs? Windmill normally supply energy not use it.
I heard it cost over $ 225,000 for each of these ‘make work’ jobs.
Maybe a battery powered wall clock with a second hand and you could drive off that part of the gearing.

If you want to generate electricity you need a generator or alternator, not a motor. It will also depend on the size of the windmill, and if you plan to use batteries to store the power. There are alternative energy companies in most cities and on the web that can help you design your system and sell you the necessary components.

it has to be DC current,
a motor out of a tread mill is the best to start with,
And yes it has to be a dc motor, for all the other people who say no.
and a permanent magnet type, an alternator produces ac and has to be changed to DC,
