What kind of worm is yellow with a black head?

Question by ashleyphelps: What kind of worm is yellow with a black head?
My roomate found several little bugs that look like worms in her room near her bed.They have a yellow body with a black head and are about 1/2 inch long. Does anyone know what these are and how to get rid of them?
