how would i start a worm bed and how to get the worms from like the store and jus let them populate
and why dont i wont night crawlers they are the bigger ones and red worms are small right
i want to have night crawlers for fishing bate to sale
Feel free to answer in the comment section below
The best way to make a worm bed is to go to the sporting goods store, puchase a dozen night crawlers and then release them on your lawn. All you will need to do is go out at night with a light and pick them up off of your lawn.
If you go out and check your lawn at night, I bet you already have the best worm bed in town.

I used fish tubs. These are big hard plastic containers they use in commercial fisheries.
I drilled some drainage holes in one and used another as a bottom liner. I filled the fish tub on top with some leaf mold and threw in some organic garbage to feed the worms. BTW/ you don’t want night crawlers, you want red worms.

There is more work to be done once you have the worms: The type of beds they need, what to feed them. the right temperatures for them to multiply, etc. So check out the source box for all the need information to get you started.
The difference between the two is, red wrigglers are use for composting kitchen scraps, while night crawlers are mainly just for bait, and feeding pet snakes.
