  1. Intercropping is having different crops in the same field, but they are seperated by rows, ie. one crops is planted between the rows of another crop. Mixed cropping is planting two or more crops over the field all mixed together.

  2. Intercropping:
Intercropping is the practice of cultivating an additional crop in the spaces available between the main crop. It is a practice often associated with sustainable agriculture and organic farming. It forms a part of polyculture. Examples of intercropping strategies are planting a deep-rooted crop with a shallow-rooted crop, or planting a tall crop with a shorter crop that requires partial shade.

    Mixed cropping:
A cropping system that uses more than one type of crop, growing simultaneously, on the same piece of land at the same time.
