  1. Whiskey of choice, 2 measures into a pan, add 2 measures of water, 2 teaspoons of good scottish heather honey, small piece of cinnamon stick (bout 1./2inch) bring to point of simmer, pour into mug, relax & enjoy

  2. Ounce or two of bourbon or blended whisky, 2 tsp sugar, juice of 1/2 a lemon. Place in glass, add a spoon, and fill with hot water. Stir. Enjoy.

I realize that this borders on blasphemy in some states but you could make it with rum (dark) if you want to.

  3. double shot of bourbon,(wild turkey is good), two tablespoons honey and boiling water. enough to dissolve the other ingredients and warm it up good. adding a tablespoon of lemon juice makes it a whiskey sour.

  4. Well being from Kentucky I was raised with either KY bourbon (personal faves are: Makers Mark, Buffalo Trace & Woodford Reserve) or Jim Beam whiskey. My grandpop made a hot toddie w/ equal bourbon and hot water then honey to taste. He use to say if honey was too expensive or he couldn’t get it from the bees (he would actually get wild honey), he would just add brown sugar. Good Luck! This is perfect when your under the weather, clears the sinus’ and puts you to sleep. I was raised on them since about the age of 12 – 13.
