Whiskey of choice, 2 measures into a pan, add 2 measures of water, 2 teaspoons of good scottish heather honey, small piece of cinnamon stick (bout 1./2inch) bring to point of simmer, pour into mug, relax & enjoy
My grandpop made a hot toddie w/ equal bourbon and hot water then honey to taste. He use to say if honey was too expensive or he couldn’t get it from the bees (he would actually get wild honey), he would just add brown sugar. And being from Kentucky I was raised with either KY bourbon (personal faves are: Makers Mark, Buffalo Trace & Woodford Reserve) or Jim Beam whiskey. Good Luck! This is perfect when your under the weather, clears the sinus’ and puts you to sleep. I was raised on them since about the age of 12 – 13.
Apple Cider, whiskey, and a Microwave.
