Question by Pirate Ruby: What is Sustainable Agriculture?
I know the actual textbook definition but what’s a more watered down/easier to understand version?

One Response to What is Sustainable Agriculture?

  1. Sustainable agriculture broadly means agricultural practices that can sustain themselves over a long period of time; that is, if they are economically viable, environmentally safe, and socially fair.

Sustainable agriculture rests on the core principle that our agriculture practices are such that we can meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
