What is poisonous for chickens to eat?

Question by Madeleine: What is poisonous for chickens to eat?
We have started feeding our chickens scraps of fruits and vegetables because my mom’s hairdresser says it makes their eggs taste better and they love it. Can you just tell me what foods are poisonous for them? I don’t want them to die-I love them too much.

  2. I have heard not to feed them tomatoes, onions, chocolate or honey. Mine eat about anything/everything else. If you go out to eat and can’t finish your meal, bring it back for the chickens and watch them go nuts over it. They’re like pigs!
