Question by : What food should i serve for my birthday?
I’m thinking if having a guy making tacos in my backyard for everyone but I don’t know yet. It costs about 400 dollars to have him making unlimited tacos for about 3 hours. Whats an other food i could get instead of tacos? I want something that everyone will be able to eat a lot of so they get full. Any ideas?

  3. Depending how many people show up $ 400 would buy a lot of hamburges & hotdogs or even steaks or ribs if you cook them yourself.
Take everybody to an all you can eat buffet & pig out.
    Order fried chicken,pizza,chinese,etc.
What time/day is the party ’cause I want to show up early & really hungry.

  4. Pork Butt!!! It is also called pork shoulder. You don’t need anyone to do it for you. You need to add the number of guests; x that number by 4. That mean every pound of meat will feed 4 people(usually 5 people really) Usually Walmart or Sams have it at $ 1.69/pound sometimes cheaper. You can get it boneless as well but will pay maybe 20 cents more per pound. Now- take the shoulders- squirt a healthy amount of mustard on each one and sprinkle the rub pepper, onion powder, kosher salt, paprika, garlic powder, brown sugar and chili powder all over each shoulder. Foil them up, stick them in a slow oven (250) for an hour per pound(but have to check with thermometer) you want it to be at least internal temp of 190 for pulling. This sounds more complicated than it is. Get on the net. There are some good recipes. Food network has a bunch. You really can’t go wrong on any of the rubs. All you have to do is pull with a fork to shred it up. Put it in a foil pan for serving and serve it with your favorite barbeque sauce or go look at Tyler Florence’s recipe- it looks just about right. You can serve slaw with your pork, All of the pork can be done ahead of time. You could even freeze the meat in tight containers until the day before and reheat it in the oven or slow cooker- adding a little apple juice so the pork is not dry. Oh, by the way, if you didn’t want to serve it as pulled pork sandwiches- you can dump your favorite salsa all over it and go ahead and make your tacos but they are pork- they are very good!! Serve with the normal cheese, sour cream, onions, etc. They are very filling. Then just buy tostido chips to go with and some fruit. Have a happy birthday!
