Question by snoopy1: What do you feed your chickens for breakfast?
What are some yummy meals for chickens to have for breakfast in winter??
At the moment I feed my 3 chickens porridge with ground up linseed.
For the rest of the day they just have their mash and are able to free range.

  2. now its hot here, so they get fresh fruits, vegetables, cottage cheese, yogurt and lettuce greens. In the winter they’ll get oatmeal. and warm laying mash. they have access to crumble laying feed 24/7 and free range during the day. They also get a little scratch, and black oil sunflower seeds to help with feather development. They are all quite spoiled !
