Question by ♥Bailey♥: What cat food do you feed your cat and tell me why it’s a good food?
I feed my guys Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover’s Soul and I like it because of all the meat. I want to see if there’s a better one out there, though that I could be or should be using??
Kia, my dog wants to know if he can move in your house. He likes the menu over there. Not the real one… he wants the chili, coors light, and york peppermint patties.

  1. Wellness – it is just about the best food you can feed your cats, it is all natural, no by products or grain.

  3. I use Purina Adult Cat chow, my cat had been hooked on it since he switched from the kitty formula. I feed my cat Fancy Feast. He just loves the gravy!

  4. My cats exist entirely on chili, coors light, and york peppermint patties 🙂

Ok, not really, but they would love that 😛 They get Blue Buffalo dry to free feed on during the day, and I feed any of the following, depending where I go to shop and what’s on sale: Merrick’s, BB, EVO, or chicken soup. All are such high quality that they are pretty much interchangeable. I used to feed Wellness, but I had to order it and it was very expensive, so this is what I do now and i have VERY healthy cats 🙂

Edit: Sure bring him over!! But I warn you, it smells a little “funny” in here…..

  5. for dry food i use Science Diet “light” it is good for cats because it is balanced like they use a lot of grain and a little meat and it also has a lot of vitamins. you can pick different type from Science Diet like for cats with sensitive skin it depends what is your cat like for example my cat sleeps a lot and doesn’t really run a lot so i feed her “light” so she doesn’t get fat

for wet food i use Friskies “selects indoor” it has a lot of meat but it also has plants like rice in it so it is balanced

both of them are good quality but kind of expensive (also depends what stors you buy your cat’s food in)

  6. Purina Kitten Chow is hard food, and is very good for my kitty. She likes it alot and its in small pieces and its very easy for her to eat them.

I also give her Fancy Feast, which is mushy food. She likes that, it’s healthy and she loves the variety of flavors. 🙂

  8. I have fed her Evo, taste of the wild, chicken noodle, Barf, wellness, cali nature, and blue. But she only loves taste of the wild. $ 10 for 5lb with 40% protein no grain, GREAT DEAL!! It lasts for a month, not too bad.

I give her some cooked chicken pieces for dinner.

  10. I’d have to ask my neighbours. My cats have not taken a meal ‘IN’ for the last month or so. Between the mice, birds, ground squirrels and neighbours feeding them they have no interest in the food here unless the dog has wet food for dinner.

In the Winter they eat mice and whatever raw meat is being tossed to them plus anything we can find for dry food that has no corn in it. Selection in our country store is rather limited and more often than not they just get the raw meat.

  11. My cats eat raw turkey, chicken, beef and deer. If I’m lazy, they get canned AvoDerm Select Cuts chicken or tuna/crab. They also get a small handful of dry Blue Buffalo Wilderness chicken/turkey.
