Question by Delaney Wilson: What can you use goat milk for?
I am doing an expert seminar on goats and I need to learn the many uses of their milk. I know that you can use it for making soap and ice cream but what are some other things that include goat milk?
Oh, and also, do you consider yourself a goat expert? (PLEASE say yes!) Thanks! 🙂

I use goat milk for anything i use cows milk for, It does not have growth hormones in it so it is much healthier.
Growth hormones that make the cows larger can cause cancer.

Pretty much anything you can do with cow milk, can also be done with goat milk, such as cheese, yogurt, and butter.
In fact, in most countries you will not find cow milk in any stores. Most people use goat milk

I wouldn’t call myself an expert, but I do know a thing or two about goat milk. For one, its fat molecules are much smaller and easier for the body to process, making it ideal for weight loss programs. It also has a richer taste to it.
I’m not certain as to whether or not it can be used in the same ways cow milk can, but I hope that helps you somewhat.

I have dairy goats and use their milk for many different things. We make goat milk soap, yogurt, many types of cheeses and anything else you would normally use cows milk for, even butter! It’s also great to give infants once they are weaned from breast milk. Many kids with cow milk allergies and eczema benefit from using goat milk. I also milk colostrum from the first doe that kids to have on hand in case there are any problems with subsequent kids (ie. Mother dies etc) Also, if you make cottage cheese with it, you can use the whey as soup bases etc or Chickens and Pigs love it!
