i know about charcoal [not good], and bananas, & egg shells
any thing else?

  1. Fish emulsion and bone meal are great.

    Also, any kitchen vegetable compost – peelings, coffee grounds, etc.

  2. Well composted animal manure has been the foundation of agriculture for thousands of years. Animals were valued for manure as much as their meat.

    Any vegetable scraps and anything from the yard make good compost.

    There’s an art to making great compost quickly, but anything living will rot and return its nutrients to the soil. Just don’t use meat, or anything that attracts rats.

  3. composted manure and garden waste is the mainstay of organic farms and gardens.

    I also use kelp, fish emulsion, rock phosphate, green sand, epsom salts, green manures (a crop grown to be cut and turned into the soil), aged manure
