  4. Well technically you aren’t vegan with the honey, but its a tiny detail and who cares about things like that – do what you feel is right for you! You dont have to fit exactly into a category

  5. a very fussy vegetarian? even if you are not completely vegan, i think that by not using leather or eating dairy, eggs, meat etc you’re doing a good job anyway.

  7. I would say that you are mostly vegan because vegetarians eat eggs, dairy, use leather, and eat honey. There’s room for an exception. It’s like chocolate cake for dieters. Honey use is not cruel really because there’s so much of it and it’s a by-product. They don’t really need it. I could never be a vegan or vegetarian. I hate most vegetables to begin with so I’d be screwed. But if I could then I def. would because it’s really healthy. It’s okay to have honey. Every one has their own exceptions you know. Honey is not a big deal.

  8. A vegetarian I’d say, albeit one who is quite close to veganism. Giving up honey isn’t so difficult: there are lots of plant sweeteners out there that can do the job like honey. Keep trying!

  11. Interesting question.I suppose you wouldn’t be technically vegan if you ate honey.I guess the best way of describing such a person would be as an “almost vegan vegetarian.”

  13. You’re still a vegetarian if you eat honey. I’ve forgotten the actual term for the type of vegetarian it is though. You’re still a vegetarian if you eat honey, vegans don’t eat or use anything produced by an animal and so honey is not vegan.
