  1. For the ducks- about 4-5 weeks old. But make sure they are in a predator proof cage.

Idk about the turkeys though, sorry.

  2. Do not put them outside until they are strong, not in the chick stage. They need to be at least a few months old. If you do put them outside, put them in a small wire cage/coop, that is closed on all sides, even the top because in the day the larger birds such as hawks love to prey on them and at night, the owls will get them. One year owls got my little turkeys by sticking their long tounge around their necks through the wire cage and strangling them with their rope-like tounge but they couldn’t get them out of the cage. So beware of the owls! Turkeys are very hard to raise because they are sensitive to just about everything. Keep them in longer if you want to keep them alive for a long time and seperate the turkeys from the ducks because they will start to pick on each other. When they do that they will pick their “butts” or their backs to kill them. When they are little they are okay together but once they get about a month old the ducks will become more dominate than the turkeys because turkeys will not fight back and they die pretty easy. Treat turkeys with tender care even more so. Try to keep your little ones cooped up until they mature.
