Question by Jello F: Virginia question with Raising Chicken, duck, etc on a nonfarm property…?
Can you raise chicken, duck, turkey in your house or yard or property and if so how many can you raise and are there certain distances required for you to raise from the next house?

If you live in virginia please answer, and if u can state the county or city you live in .

  1. I live south of Front Royal in northern VA and I know I’m allowed some farm animals. If you are unsure check with your county agent if not in town limits and the town hall for zoning in your area if in town.
