  1. Im not sure that it matters. What ever direction the wind is comming from there is a leading edge facing that direction.

  5. Does it have a way to work when the wind is coming from the opposite direction? My friend and I are doing a science fair project where we designed our own VAWT and we’ve been researching other designs.

  15. Just curious, Is it possible to have drag without lift? Or lift without drag?

    If drag is the wind hitting some surface, then wouldn’t the low pressure area behind that object be a form of Lift?
