  8. Ok, my Cantaloupe are flowering like CRAZY. Looks like they’re flowering more than my Cucumbers!!!! lol…The vines are really short though and ain’t got a single Cantaloupe yet!! Why?? It’s been VERY dry here. No rain in months! Been having to tote water to the Cucumbers, Squash, Watermelons, and Cantaloupe (where the sprinkler don’t reach).

  23. You have some really great, informative videos. I’ve only ever grown some potted herbs & tomatoes in my yard and this year we’re going to try our hand at some real veggies! Thank you! 🙂

  24. @brown55061 …Melons should be one of the first things to come up. No need to start them indoors, just plant them straight in the garden……Donald

  25. I tried to start my honey dew and canteloupe seeds indoors this year but none of them want to sprout. Does it have to be pretty warm for them to germinate?? Everything else from my seeds have gone crazy, just not the melons. Maybe the basement isn’t warm enough. The flourescent light sure isn’t getting the dirt warm.
