17 Responses to Using worm tea on my garden beds and container plants.
Hi Luke removed the yellow leaves from the plants. Im lucky I beleave that I don’t have dozens of plants like some of you gardners out there. Since Im starting right out of the potting shed I wanted to start slow and not over whelm myself. But wait until next year more beds more plants Yahoo. Paula
I went and removed the yellow looking leaves. Used clean scissors. Hey Bobby if you harvest any seeds from that gigantic rutgers? tomatoe plant Your girl as you call her keep me in mind I would love to try and grow one next season. 🙂
I seen Diannemumm use one of those sprayers for her seedlings, I thought I would get one next year for seed starting, but great idea for compost tea! I think I will to get one sooner. I know they are under 10 bucks, so I think it would be worth that. Does it ever get plugged up?
I like the little sprayer, neat. Its interesting that you can get enough nutrients in the tea alone for good plant growth.I really need to get me a worm bed. Nice looking plants. On the mater leaves, if its close to the soil, or begins to look bad, its outta here. They grow too fast to put up with anything that could be a potential problem.
any time your leaves turn yellow, or brittle. pull them off emmediatly! they are a form of blight that will spread quicker than a cheatah on a fresh steak. (thats fast if you didn’t know) thanks for the video!
yes , on the store compost ,,often it’s left in the sun and in bags.. so it pretty much cooks any life inside ..it’s still great for loosening soil , but not the best thing for making teas and building bio-active soil…… Home made is the best
Yes Gary in the soil also. I noticed when I used it during my seed starting I did not have the damping off problem. I think it is better then any comercial liquid fertilizer you can buy.

If you strain the tea before you pour it into the bottle I dont think it would. I like it because you dont have to keep squeezing the trigger.

Worm tea is the best. Do you add to the soil too? I just poured it over the plants last year. The stuff works wonders.
