Picture of a red apple lying on a field of green grass. The tasty apple is free to eat.

This delicious fruit fell from a tree on a lovely hill where flowers bloom from spring through summer until the Autumn comes to visit the happy rabbits.

This photo of a red apple represents healthy fertility, freedom and abundance of food.

Question by English Rain: Urban Agriculture/Community Food Programs in Montreal?
I am moving to Montreal, QC, Canada and am looking for volunteering/job opportunities in the field of community/urban agriculture/ local food cooperatives/urban gardens, etc…

I am very interested in food justice in urban communities, the local food system, and educating community members on the importance of healthy, local, organic foods.

I have no idea where I could look to find such an organization in Montreal– and I would really like to meet new people, and have something to do when i first move there.

If anyone has a suggestion, or knows of any organizations for urban gardeners/farmers/enviro enthusiasts like me…. I would greatly appreciate the help 🙂 🙂

Thanks in advance
