I think you had more luck with your square foot garden than your allotment
This is great. I have a low porch roof in the rear of my house. I’m thinking about putting grow bags with vining fruits on it and let them hang down from the roof like a topsy-turvy plant. Should work, right? I think that would be fun. Maybe tomatoes, cukes, squash. Perhaps I can support the fruit with nylon pouches ties as they form.
Now Rick you can’t have a garden with out a “Scare Crow”…that’s just plain bad luck…lol. That’s like snow in your front yard and no snowman. I say a little one perched on top somewhere so he can watch out over your goodies. You can call him Friday…lol.
Never in a MILLION years would I think I would spend 9:36 of my live watching a gardening video…But it was the most relaxing experience of my live!! Great work Rick!! 🙂
I agree with the people who say you should have a TV show. I watch PBS “Public Broadcasting Service” here in the US and your videos are every bit as good or better.

Red Florence – heirlooms – they can be used as both spring onions and full size onions I believe.

How are you going to prevent a lot of these plants being eaten by birds/bugs?
Also it’s a good job you don’t live in Perth (Scotland) otherwise you’d be fending off the snow right now 😉

10/10 again Rick. You certainly give all your projects 100%. Just looking at all your woodworking, it’s a labour of love. Keep up the great series.

Oh now I remember, Remember to mark the bags for next year so you can rotate your crops accordingly.

I would plant extra seeds in the brasicas because you might have failures. Plus birds love eating them.

The BBC needs to give Rick his own show. Rick your videos are better then 99% on TV. Keep up the good work.
