  1. There are way simpler DWC systems than this one. This is obviously not a first timers set up.

  2. for your first i would stick with soil. Or something like ebb and flow or top feed drip in grodan cubes, much easier to set and maintain

  8. @zerocrombie this is a negative flow system. Instead of pumping water from bucket to bucket it constantly is draining into itself and sucked through the mag pump where it waterfalls. This is not the same as a recirculating dwc. Although you can build this system with blank containers and two reservoirs for about $400, $500 with the diffusers and air pump. And yes you should be running very lighting with this system

  11. too expensive for what it does. recycle dwc is the same thing, cost a bunch less.

  14. Good job. Only thing I would change is that tinfoil-ish stuff on the wall. It actually dampens light. You can get white plastic sheeting and that would make it a lot more brighter in there. 🙂
