  3. i’m sure it’d work, but the slimey stuff encasing the seeds retards how many seedlings you’ll get. whenever you collect seeds from tomatoes, you remove that slime and ferment the seeds for a couple days, then let them air dry.

  7. i dont think you can but you can scrape the seeds straight out of a ripe, fresh tomato into the soil and it will grow nicely.

  8. Anyone know, if its possible to get new tomato plants by burying a whole tomato ?
I mean the tomato will rot in the soil, and in 3-4 months should release the dried seeds inside the tomato into the soil ? Weird experiment which I am testing.

  9. I heard of this process of watering your tomatoes less right before harvest to get a sweeter fruit, when do you start to water less?

  11. I noticed you do not pull the suckers off, you would get far more fruit if you did. If you write me or your watchers write, I will tell them how to remove the suckers. I used to be a truck gardener of tomato’s.

  23. thanks dave. try to pick off as many of the caterpillars as you can or you can make your own chilli pesticide (see my vid), they won’t eat it then. Dipel is a good insecticide for caterpillars, not organic but low toxic.
