is a good idea to mount a wind turbine,but a 50w is a small one,for your
300amphour battery bank a 150wh turbine is good because the average power
will be 50-60 wh times 24 =1200-1440 wh a day,minus the loss in the line
you got a 1000w per day.

60pounds is a good price for a small turbine,but you have to buy a charge
controler and a dump loader.
