  5. Claire, you are so very kind to mention my name and channel again! I
received a bump in subscriptions the last time you did it for me so thank
you!!! I know that you will absolutely love those cantaloupes. They are the
sweetest melons on the planet in my opinion. Chuck!

  6. It depends where you live to what size the allotments are. Most places,
half a plot is 125 sqm and a whole plot is 250 sqm. We’re just odd where I
live. I don’t know why. I do grow a lot of stuff, but we eat a lot. Even
    though there’s 2 adults, and 13 and a 10 year old, I cook for 5 adults. The
kids eat more that I do. I also like to save as much as I can to last us
    through the winter months.

  8. You were kind enough to send me the seeds, so it’s only fair that I link to
your you tube. I’m very excited about them growing, the tomatoes are doing
well, not quite at the pricking out stage, but possibly another week will
    be enough.

  9. I have 320 square meters of allotment space. Which is quite a lot, so it’s
a full time job. And then a very small garden which measure 16ft by 48
foot. My allotment space is much bigger that my garden.

  11. Another great video Claire and you are so lucky to have friends sending you
seeds. Have you had any offers to do garden programmes on TV yet?

  12. Are you growing these in England, down south? Will they remain in the
    greenhouse? : )

  14. Both are very large for UK standards. You can grow enough in the garden to
feed a small army, but your allotment could feed a brit invasion of the EU.
All you need to do is send Richard Branson into France and they will
surrender and he can chase French Skirts, then send the rest of the forces
marching through! Claire rules Europe woot!

  15. I sent them some Foxgloves a few years ago, which got safely there. I’ve
had 2 auditions for gardening programmes, last year “Love your garden” and
I got down to the final 6! And this year a gardening competition a bit like
the Bake Off. Sally and I got down to the final selection, but they said
“No”. Friends of mine were surprised and said maybe I knew too much. I’ve
got another avenue I can try, so hopefully. It would be my dream job.
