Question by Shane: Should my partner and I study in Argentina or Spain?
My partner and I will be studying abroad for the spring semester (January – June). Should we study in Argentina or Spain and why?
About us: We are two guys who have been in a committed relationship for five years. One of us is 26 and the other is 27. Our main goal is to become fluent in spanish, and plan to take intensive spanish language classes. Other interests of ours include sustainability, community-building, sustainable and small-scale agriculture, natural building, fresh and local food, beer, wine and mead, and meeting great and inspiring folks.

  1. It depends. I don’t know how much money you have got but if you want to travel to Europa you’ll need a lot.

If you want to reconsider your trip and go to South America I can show you some videos and photos from Argentina.

  2. Both are very good.

But if you want that, don’t go to the capitals, Madrid or Buenos Aires, because you won’t find that.
