I’ve never been to that side of the country, but I’ve always heard it’s a
different kind of heat than over here in N.C. I’ve always heard “It’s a dry
heat”… Is this true where your at? To me, Hot is Hot!…no matter where
you are. Isn’t an oven a dry heat? lol… It has been pretty brutal here
lately… 9 days in a row 100 + temps. I’ll be glad when it’s over.
Yesterday morning I went and picked a rear windshield wiper motor off a
wrecked Explorer. It took me all off 20 minutes to get it out, and I was
soaked and wet with sweat at 10 am, so yeah, thats probably what it’s like
here all summer. We did have a gorgeous spring, with low humidity
though…we’re paying for it now!
lol yeah, an oven is a dry heat, I’ve always heard the same stuff about
humidity, but have never been away from the west coast, so really can’t
compare. It’s been 100+ here for the past few days, but it’s not muggy or
wet. still uncomfortable, though, but bearable. I was in southern
california once when it was hot and kind of humid, and I had a taste of
what you might be used to. I stepped out the door and almost instantly felt
sweaty.
