  2. @pinklady405 We got two 6.5WO piglets and they were about 40 lbs each. The female was a bit smaller than the male. They both fit comfortably in one medium size dog crate for the ride home in the car.

  3. why raise pigs from 2 different breeds, any reasons?

  9. At 8 weeks they will be smaller than these. These are about 12 weeks. They go from cute little 10 pounds to 120+ in six months.

  12. Due to beauty and sheer lovliness the pigs may touch one another, with nose (snout) and skull socket, respectively. The face was moved, with bone structure, often hurt with lengthened fur upon the snout (nose) without blood, until the day of severe hurting. Also while looking toward it.

  19. @SweetJudith12345 You are a tool. To view any human as one without a soul because of their diet is not only retarded but extremely judgmental and sad. Who are you to pass judgment? So, you don’t eat meat and this makes you better than people who do?That sounds like the words of an elitist swine to me. Maybe what you should do is keep stupid comments to yourself and quit being judgmental and cruel to humans. You know like how you think people should treat animals, try treating humans with respect.

  23. I have 3 Yorkshire pigs and they, much larger now, eat about 100 pounds of feed a week to a week and 1/2. I also provide food scraps, whole or craked corn, extra garden items, etc. The 100 pounds cost about $20.00. They are in a dry lot and I put the mush in a rubber bowel. So you can figure $30 a month per pig times 8 months. $240 to grow out a pig. Doesn’t make much sense does it?

  24. @EmmaTav Once these pigs are born, their lives are pretty much forfeit. They “live to die” as it were. So these people are actually pretty nice for giving it the attention and space it wants and a better life than any commercial swine.
