  2. does anyone get the irony that Perdue is sponsoring Joel Salatin videos? Joel says, “first they treat you like a lunatic. then they laugh at you. then they fight you. then you win.”

    >Why they don’t show the animals being killed?
I’m pretty sure that violates some youtube rules, and it’s not what the video is about.
    >Why not going vegetarian instead of eating meat?
Because vegetarianism is unnatural and unhealthy. But I’m sure you’ve already fabricated PLENTY of arguments against common sense to defend your lifestyle by now.

  4. Yeah man it’s crazy that the couple were murdered by their own son. I was looking up their farm to ask them if they took any interns. I am in shock. They look like really nice people.

  5. @miguelmxdecarvalho : I tried being a vegitarian, but I lacked the energy. Nice idea but we have canine teeth for a reason. 🙂 I think they didn’t show slaughter because their is simply no reason to show it. We all know that animals die so that humans eat. Good health and tolerance for those with a different lifestyle to you. 🙂 Loved the video…wish all farms ran this way. Thanks for sharing and happiness to you all!

  7. @miguelmxdecarvalho Exactly, this is the nice shiney “happy” looking side of farming.

Actually, there is nothing humane about eating any animals, whether they come from a normal farm or a very rare farm like this.

    They all end up slaughtered.

They all grieve & bellow for their babies who were slaughtered after they gave birth & so that humans can drink their babies milk.

This is their extremely sad inhumane fate

  9. @miguelmxdecarvalho Totally agreed, I’m a vegan.

the worst most inhumane industry is the dairy milk industry.

  12. @miguelmxdecarvalho well, the animals are in existence now so its too late for your approach of dont breed them. and its part of my philosophy that every creature should have to the right to bang once in their life before they die so eating meat goes well with my beliefs. Also, you’re talking about your conscience, not mine. lots of people have no problem killing animals(and that doesn’t mean we have problems, though they may be problems to you) so you can avoid meat, fine, but dont be a fascist

  13. @TheMatt455 Continuing my reply…Every animal that we bring into existence should have the right to live until the end and not to suffer. This is where my vegetarianism is grounded. Of course nature works differently, but I am not a natural being only, I am a being with cultural values also. We shouldn’t look only to nature in order to discover what is wrong and what is right to eat. We should examine our concious, are reason very carefully. This is why philosophy exists.

  14. @TheMatt455 Just to answer your question. we don’t have any moral obligation to bring so many animals into existence. If bring more animals into existence would be considered a positive thing we should raise mice instead of cows, because cows consume much more resources and are far less efficient than mice. But this is of course a ridiculous example, but just to reply the common assumption that bring a lot of animals into existence is better than bring a few.

  20. @miguelmxdecarvalho how could they afford to feed their animals and keep their home if they didn’t kill the animals? would you prefer their animals to starve and them to live on the streets? Just a question from a proud omnivore and butcher.

  23. Well all they talked about is the good side of having animals, but what they forgot to mention is that its a 24 hr job every day, your never off work, and that restricts you from doing certain things thruout your life…SO if you like vacations and traveling then farming isnt going to be for you. They did have a nice setup tho, and its good to see that their happy. As for me work doesnt make me happy but it still has to be done. im kinda stuck with it carrying on the ole family tradition.

  24. @hotblondemakenze There is no way to prove that at all. There is a lot more to lifestyle and longevity than what people eat. People who are vegetarians are more likely to excersize, watch their weight, and be more likely to watch their stress levels imo compared to the average person. Genes account more for longevity. If your family has a genetic history of cancer, diabetes, heart disease, or whatever then you can eat all the veggies you want and it still won’t amount to squat.
