I can’t believe you came in 3rd! The 1st and 2nd had to be celestial
George brilliant work on your allotment, have made some changes to mine after seeing your’s great inspiration thanks. When are you ing some more videos…
Hi there nice allotment i have just picked up a 6×4 greenhouse for £50 and planning to grow vegetables for selling on a market cart at the side of the road to make some money im 13 but love gardening and just woundered what size those raised beds are and where do get all the soil for them while im on how do you get the onions to swell up like that when i grew them last year in large pots but only got like a spring onion do you have to feed them or anything like that thank you , connor
What an inspirational video! We’ve only just started our allotment in Cumbria, so have a lot of catching up to do! It’s lovely to see such an organised and productive allotment and well done for the award.
4 people are clearly jealous of your plot, that’s the only fathomable reason for disliking this video.
Well done mate, you’ve obviously spent a lot of time and effort.
Ok, thanks, now, how did you put the screen in place – at what stage of the strawberry plant did you put it down, and some details as to how it was done. Thanks. I am looking to expand a strawberry patch, and this was very helpful. I was wondering if the screen get’s removed, or how do the plants develop the runners, are they above or below the screen, how do you encourage them to spread out.
Just got my first 5 pole half plot…i’s pretty bare but the soil is great. This is a real inspiration…how long are you ‘on site’ each week and how long did it take you to create the layout you now have? Regards Graham

Amazing video – thanks for sharing. I’m a newbie allotment holder – have just fully cleared my plot and now have a blank canvas to work from. What’s the single most valuable piece of advice you can offer? :o)

I’ve copied your compost bin idea and it’s worked very well for me, thanks.
Will you be doing a 2013 garden video as I’d love to see what changes you’ve made as well as plant progress.
