  1. I see you still have the dog… Who is Tiffany? Is she the one that is usually behind the camera? She does great work on the camera! It sure looks like it was a pretty day there!

  2. Hey John, great info! You’ve talked before about Egyptian spinach and I haven’t been able to find much info on it. Where do you plan on buying your seed from? Also will I be able to grow it in zone 6?

  3. thanks John. Good information. I have a couple of strawberry plants that only feed the critters. So I’ve been letting them run. Looks pretty sloppy now. I guess I’ll try trimming them back after watching your video. Thanks again.

  4. Ditto on the book.

John, what’s your thoughts on Mushroom compost… which I see everywhere from my local nursery to home depot. More affordable than earthworm castings. Curious if you’ve utilized it.

  6. Strawberries are also a big seller here in FL. A town just north of tampa called plant city has the strawberry festival every year. Its a huge event, as big as the state fair with rides and what not. You can eat strawberries galore!

  7. Not sure why you dont have fruit forming. It is still a bit early. Could be the type of strawberry, so many reasons. Yes, they do need to be polinated. On the peas.. Depends on how many peas you want to eat. You can space them 3″ or 4″ apart, and use a trellis. I have over 200 snap/snow peas planted here 🙂

  8. Holy Moses that’s an insane amount of strawberry plants! Keeping the runners under control is going to be alot of work but the reward is worth it. Nothing makes me smile more than being buried up to my neck in strawberries. 🙂

  9. First! I have beautiful strawberry plants, lovely strawberry flowers, no strawberries. Do they have to be pollinated in order to “take”? Or is it one of those goofy plants that grow this year and fruit next year? I hate those. Just kidding. Also, if you have time: How many pea plants would you grow to feed 2 adults and a child? I grew 9 and wasn’t near enough. Curious what you thought.
