How many broilers do you raise where you let them grow more than a year?
What is so “natural” about it? He raises chickens engineered to grow twice as fast, and hens that lay 3-4 times more than before WWII. They suffer internally. I found out about breeds that he is raising when I got baby chicks for the eggs. Instead of living up to 20 years, their average life span, they lasted no more than 3 years (cancer, ovaries and heart attack) because they fall apart from all the egg laying. These broilers shown here barely move n collapse within a year if u let them grow.

I bet the meat is a lot gamier tasting in chickens without a prison like pen

Enjoyable and informative video with information that can be applied to not only chickens, but also turkeys, rabbits, and perhaps even ducks.
You’ll find other Polyface Farm videos equally informative and entertaining. He’s a natural farmer with a great desire to teach many others.
