Thank you, I ordered cold tolerant tomato seeds called Siberian Tomato. The plant is capable of setting fruit even at 38 degrees. Here the winters are not as severe as it is in the northern parts. The need for an additional layer would be very useful. I plan to run most energy needs via solar. In additional to utilizing a heater, I am researching a solar heat sink method.

I Sub’d! I built mine a little differently. You can run another layer of visqueen and heat that thing and have tomatoes all year long! Check out my gardening channel as well as my son’s! He has been gardening with me on my channel for years but now has his own garden and channel. Dpfenster09. He is only13 but well beyond that in gardening years!
