@PILIPINAS7107 In that video it was because the area I was growing in was
too cold for the plant so I had a heat mat under the tray and a cover to
keep the heat in. Are you anywhere near Makati City? Our company has
support staff there.

Thanks for your movie. Also, I have some secrets to grows up to 10 x the

im at the beginning stages of starting my own hydroponic vegetables, but
due to my lack of income, I cannot purchase all of the tools and nutrients
that some say are needed and necessary. With yours, did you test the ph
level, or did you leave that up to chance? I dont have a meter, and all I
have is a water soluble plant food with micronutrients, should I wait and
save to get what I am missing?
@kookingkorner Thanks! I’ll have another video coming out in a week or so
that has something similar but in a larger size. I hope to have a new video
up tonight of what I think is a cool idea with other plastic vessels.
right now i have a sweet banana pepper growing on a window sill…. in a
mini dwc… no lights just window light i dont expect anything from
it…other than to grow and be a plant on a window sill lol…. but i am
thinking about trying kale under cfls on a shelf…
I would start with hydro lettuce as it’s the easiest and most forgiving.
You can use a yoghurt cup and pea gravel for a medium to save money. A $5-6
air pump, line and air stone would be all you needed for air. Use a tiny
amount of nutrients in the water if you have no meter. I used a meter and
then later didn’t worry about it as it did fine when I got busy doing other
things. If the plant doesn’t produce fruit, you can get by without a meter
as long as you use very little nutrients.
@Watsamadoing Awesome! I liked your video on recycling your containers as
well. MIgardener did one where he uses containers that salad etc comes in
so I am keeping mine now. It’s cool how we are all feeding off others’
ideas and giving each other new ideas!
Great idea for the snack cups.. I’ve looked at those things so many times,
thinking if i could use them but I have so many containers I ended up not
keeping them.. Might have to start collecting now that I have an excuse
@susannamcintyre And great on sandwiches too!

@Jksax914 Tank ya sir! Much appreciated. It would be nice if a lot more
parents would grow stuff and teach their kids as well.

Nice video. Have you had any issues with damping off when you cover the
plants with the snack cups?
