  11. By the way Donna, I also bought the sugar snap pea from Bakers Creek and I
don’t like them because they don’t seem to get big a puffy. Your Calendula
is very pretty, I am growing for the first time. Thank you for all your
    information.

  12. Donna, I know how you like to do companion planting. You said you wanted to
transplant your tomato over in another area by the dill. I read that you
should not plant dill near tomatoes. Dill attracts the horn worm. I notice
you love borage, which tomatoes and cukes also love. I love watching your
videos. It is like I am walking right with you. Thank you for sharing.

  15. Thanks! Oh, how I remember Florida. Boy, summers were tough on the
garden..dry, hot, etc. Have fun at your cabin. It will be much cooler than
FL this time of year. I am looking forward to a vacation … way
    overdue…going to Costa Rica 🙂 Can’t wait! I love wildlfie photography. 🙂

  17. Thanks. It means a lot that you feel like you are walking right with me!
That is the feeling I am hoping to create 🙂 As far as the dill…I have
dill all over the garden (re-seeded). It’s by all of my tomatoes, and so
far, they are doing fine. However, that does not mean it will stay that way
:).So I appreciate you pointing it out. I will keep an eye out for that
worm and show it in a video if I find one . I’m also planting tomatoes
around rosemary & it worked last year for me:)We’ll see…

  19. I always enjoy your garden tours, Donna. I’ve had to deal with those
Mexican beetles, too. I hope you have a great vacation. I’m leaving on
Monday for the cabin and will be gone for 3 weeks or more. I don’t have to
worry about my Florida garden at this point as I am not growing much now.
I’ll start it back up at the end of summer. Everything looks great in your
    garden.

    ones, love it!

  21. Thank you!! That was a last minute purchase from a nursery. It is hard to
find at box stores. try a local specialty nursery, or you may be able to
    start it from seed.

  22. You are right. Lemongrass is almost impossible to grow from seed. Go to
your nearest oriental market (when they get a fresh shipment of LG in). Buy
about five which have a good, thick base. Put them in a glass of water on
your window sill. Change it every other day (or the water will get bad and
stink). In about 3-4 weeks you should have a good root system on the plant
and it can go straight into the ground. Choose a sunny wet spot. By a
downspout or something. Thanks so much for watching.
